The cloud forest night walk with Juan Carlos was truly unforgettable. He is an amazing guide — very knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly good at spotting wildlife we would have completely missed on our own.
We also did the coffee tour, which was super interesting and felt very authentic. Learning about Costa Rican coffee directly from local producers made it even more special.

We were sad we couldn’t stay at Casa Batsu because it was fully booked, but booking our tours with Batsu Journeys was a great decision.
They organized a cloud forest walk and a night tour in Monteverde with the same guide, who was very kind and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the forest and wildlife, and by the end it felt like we were friends.
Everything was smooth and easy, the photos were beautiful, and we felt lucky to be in a small group with our own guide, especially after seeing how large some other groups were.
